Why we dropped everything to build ShootQuote
As wedding photographers running shoots across India, we loved our craft. But during peak wedding season, our reality wasn't just capturing memories—it was drowning in admin work.
We would return from 18-hour shoots with aching feet, only to face 25+ WhatsApp messages asking: “Bhaiya, Mehendi + Sangeet + Wedding ka quotation bhejo na.”
Drafting a single customized proposal meant opening Canva, calculating album costs in Excel, formatting GST invoices, converting to PDF, writing payment bank details, and chasing follow-ups. Each quote took 45 minutes. When you have 30 inquiries a week, you either lose sleep or lose clients to studios who replied in 5 minutes.
